Randy Z has been performing professionally for over 25 years, playing for audiences from Key West to Ontario.

As acoustic music first entered the local scene in 1978, Randy Z, performing solo, or as Gypsy Bleu, Part III, and Red Vino and the Winers, helped establish the acoustic guitar, singer/songwriter genre in Central PA, and has performed at almost every major acoustic venue in that region.

From 2000 through 2009, Randy Z was half of the nationally acclaimed trop-rock duo "Tropical Soul" working with Peter Mayer, Doyle Grisham, Tina Gullickson, Jim Mayer, Amy Lee and TC Mitchell of Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band; and has worked with R. Scott Bryan of the Sheryl Crow Band, John Hammond Jr., Preston Reed, Rory Block, John Herald, Michael Brewer, and Keith Knudson and John Mcfee of the Doobie Brothers.

Randy Z's orginal songs have appeared in commercials/videos for the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Pacer Society, the State of Minnesota and many others.

Randy Z has performed for Parrothead Clubs across the country: the Meeting of the Minds, National Jimmy Buffet Festival in Key West (8 years opening the Streetfest in front of Margaritaville Cafe on Duval St); Ocean State Parrothead Club "A Pirate Looks at Newport" in Newport, RI; Washington DC Parrothead Club's "Winter Meltdown" in Manassess, VA (4 years); Blue Water Parrothead Club, Sarnia, Ontario's "Flock to the Dock"; Tampa Bay Parrothead Club's "Floridaze" in Clearwater Beach, FL and others. He has performed at the Orlando and Key West Margaritavilles; 14 Cheeseburger in Paradise Restaurants from Detroit to Ft. Myers; the famed Navagator Bar on the Peace River in Arcadia, FL; and pre Buffett concert tailgate parties.

Randy Z has also performed with Parrothead favorites John Frinzi; Jim Morris; Sunny Jim White; Scott Kirby; Hugo Duarte; Emily Leader (from the Army National Orchestra) ; John Patti; Kelly Mcguire; Tall Paul and Crawdaddy; the Calypso Nuts; Jimmy and the Parrots; Jerry Gonntag, Jambo Joe Bones and others.

In 2002, Randy Z, as Tropical Soul, opened for Jimmy Buffett in front of 4000+ fans in Key West, FL.

He has recorded 2 albums with Tropical Soul, a solo album, and is currently working on songs for a new album.

Since departing Tropical Soul, Randy Z is now performing solo, playing his assortment of covers and originals of Trop-Rock, Classic Rock, Blues, Country and Americana songs.
